So what’s going on? Here’s some ideas to get you going:
Annapolis St Patrick’s parade – Sunday March 8 1 pm (always week before the official weekend) – The parade is only in its’ 8th year but already it’s the biggest parade in Annapolis, with a long (and quirky) parade of floats, bands and revelry.
Idea: Take advantage of our “Extend the weekend” special and get 50% off on Monday night when you stay Sunday night at regular price. We’ll take the discount after you make the reservation. Book here
St Patrick’s weekend – March 14 & 15 features many bar and food specials
Sock Burning and Oyster Roast – March 21 12n – 4p – Annapolis Maritime Museum, Eastport – one of the great quirky traditions that make Annapolis so great! Legend has it this now popular tradition at many yacht clubs around the country started right here in Annapolis when some guys needed a new excuse for a party! It’s now grown into a giant event featuring oysters, live music, beer trucks and much more! Get tickets in advance (not on sale as of this writing)
Other fun stuff – As always we have the US Naval Academy (their tours are excellent), State House, lots of great restaurants, museums, shopping and more!
