Festive Shopping Options in Historic District of Annapolis, Maryland Dec 2015

Wishing everyone who might be reading this a very Happy Thanksgiving Day. In the comics today a Dad was reading that it was okay to eat all you want on Thanksgiving Day – and then he decided to stop reading any more of that article. Sounds like good advice to me as I plan to eat all the wonderful things we share with our family and friends on Thanksgiving Day each year. Hoping that you and yours will have a wonderful day together also.

I noticed as I was walking around downtown today that many of the garlands are hanging and festive decorations are in the windows. That means only one thing – Midnight Madness is just around the corner here in Annapolis. On Dec 3 & Dec 10 the shops in the Historic District area of downtown Annapolis will stay open until midnight for holiday shoppers to visit and shop at the many unique stores here in our area. Whether you are looking for jewellery, accessories, decorative items, art work, teas, spices, oils & vinegars for cooking, blown glass, clothing or an Annapolis t-shirt you can find all and so much more in a most festive atmosphere as you stroll around the City Dock, Main Street, State Circle and Maryland Avenue shops and restaurants.

Finish the evening off with some Irish eggnog at Galway Bay on Maryland Avenue or a delightful snack or meal at one of the numerous restaurants and pubs in our town. See you out and about in the next few weeks!
