Jazz, Blues & Folk Music in Annapolis, May 7, 8 & 9, 2014

Three great female performers of the jazz, blues and folk music genres will be performing at the Ram’s Head Tavern on West Street in Annapolis on May 7, 8 & 9.

On Wednesday, May 7 you can hear Joan Osborne performing her American roots music which has generated seven Grammy nominations for her work. You might know her best from the song entitled “(What if God) was One of Us?”

The following night, May 8, you can here Suzanne Vega bring her Grammy Award winning sound to her folk music revival of the 1980’s.

On May 9, you can hear one of the great original female folk singers when Judy Collins sings for two shows that evening. Judy started studying classical piano but fell in love with the guitar when songs by Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie turned her talents toward folk revival. For any Baby Boomers out there the unique sound of Judy’s voice will bring back many memories of your youth when you sit and listen to her sing that evening.

If you decide to come to any of these performances get in touch with us here at Flag House Inn for a reservation. We are only a ten minute walk from the Ram’s Head Tavern. Come into town on the afternoon of the show, park your car on site here at our B&B, go out to dinner, see the show and then stroll back the the Flag House Inn for a quiet evening of humming some of the many songs you will have heard that evening.
