The New Year has begun and we wish you and yours a very happy and healthy year ahead. It was a lovely evening in Annapolis on New Year’s Eve with decent weather, good music and great fireworks for all to enjoy. Then the “Polar Vortex” arrived and we, along with most of the US, stayed in at Flag House Inn and waited for it to pass. Now I know our temperature with windchill at -11 is nothing compared to the mid-West but it sure was cold for us. Thankfully it is moving out and we can expect temperatures closer to normal by this weekend.
We are doing some more renovations at the Inn this winter and will be closed for most of January and February. If you are planning a visit to the area after February be sure and book on line or give us a call and we will be happy to help you with your reservation.
Annapolis is the capital of Maryland and our legislative session opened today and will run through early April. Things are still open in downtown Annapolis so please do come in for a visit to the area for a day but save your overnight visits with us at the B&B for the warmer weather in March and onward.
