This weekend is the last home football game for USNA this season and also the class reunion weekend for the graduates of the class of 1983. We are proud to host several grads here at Flag House Inn as the celebrate 30 years since tossing their covers into the air at the end of Commissioning Week.
The weather is a bit cloudy today but tomorrow for the game we are expecting warmer temperatures (in the mid-50’s) and some sunshine. So put on your Navy gear and head out to the Navy-Marine Corps stadium for another great Navy football game.
Other interesting things to do in town this weekend include:
1) Taking Care of your Family Treasures with Lyndra Marshall, President of Gene-All-Of-Us, will help you learn about preserving family heirlooms and history. This takes place at the Banneker-Douglas Museum on Saturday, Nov 16 from 1 – 3 PM. For more information call 410-216-6181.
2) On Sunday, Nov 17, hear the Annapolis Chamber Players in McDowell Hall on St. John’s College Campus beginning at 4 PM. For more information visit annapolischamberplayers.org/
3) On Wed, Nov 20 you can hear a lecture on “Print Making in Venice” with Lucinda Edinberg in the Mitchell Gallery at St. John’s College from 12:12 – 12:45 PM. For more information visit www.stjohnscollege.edu/
Enjoy your weekend and be sure and take some time to relax and, if you are near Annapolis, view the last of the autumn leaves which still add beauty to our area.
