Market House reopens in Historic Annapolis MD Sept 7 2013

What’s the big news in town this week??  It is the reopening of the Market House at the City Dock in the Historic District of Annapolis, MD and just a block from the Flag House Inn B&B.

Why is this such a big event?  Well, every since Hurricane Isabel struck in 2003 the Market House has either been under construction, opening and closing and opening and closing several times until this revamp with the official opening today.  Everyone who visits or lives in downtown Annapolis will be happy to see vendors there once again.  There is a raw bar where you can walk in and get fresh oysters shucked right in front of you, good sandwiches, excellent gelato, fresh salads and vegetables (yes, you can get a head of lettuce, stalks of celery and an assortment of veggies for your evening salad) and even an array of gluten free products.  So, be sure and stop by and visit the vendors, tell them you are glad they are there and be sure and support them with your purchases so we won’t have to go through any more closings and openings of the Market House.
