Located on the third floor front of the inn, overlooking the U.S. Naval Academy, the room is decorated in an Edwardian inspired red toile print repeated in the wallpaper, headboard and window treatment fabrics, all by Thibaut.  The room is set off brilliantly by elaborate white crown moldings and chair rail, as well as room-darkening wooden blinds.  An antique British naval print caricaturing Rear Admiral Sir Colin Koppel, “Commodore H. M. Yachts,” is softly lighted from above.  Two comfortably deep club chairs from Hickory White invite relaxation, television watching, or reading by excellent lighting.  The king size bed has two swing-arm lamps for bedtime reading and there is a writing desk.  The room has a private bath with shower en suite.  There is a quiet multispeed ceiling fan in addition to air conditioning in warmer weather.  Thick quiet carpeting is Karastan wool.  An exceptional feature is an antique Chinese presentation chest intended for a retirement celebration.  On it, in Chinese characters, is a soulful four-panel poem on the stages of life, translated for you by a Flag House Inn guest.  Free WiFi & CTV.

The maximum occupancy is two people in this room.

Rate range is $199 – $250 (subject to change for special event weeks)
